Make recommendations to DOE that positively impact cleanup activities in ways that reflect community perspectives and increase public support.

• Encourage member involvement
• Maintain consensus building process
• Strive to increase understanding of projects on a technical level
• Inform the public and obtain feedback
• In conjunction with DOE, strive to communicate technical information in layman's terms
